Our team was asked to find the most recent news to help us analyze the information about social networking to prepare us for the focus group section. The information collected from this focus group will help Proximity and our client to understand and analyze information based on the result of this focus group. In this post, you will find the summary of a CMS WIRE article on Social Media Minute. This article touches upon rises and declines in usage of social network used on mobile or internet. I recommend setting up a focus group for TU students to see what type of media sources they mostly use.
What rises and declines are in Social Media?
Social Networking has started long back, and now more and more users are joining sites like Facebook, Twitter, and other different ones. According to Jason Harris in CMS WIRE, more people use web browser than mobile device when using social networking sites. But, Facebook name stays as the largest mobile social networking site. On the other hand not many Twitter users are active on the site.
Why social media service is important?
Social media service is important to people to stay connected with their friends and family to share their day in life. Also, social media lets individual meet others in their field. Sites like Facebook and Twitter brings a lot of attention into social networking and these sources can be used to pass on a message to all users by single click. As mentioned in the article about mobile usage, I believe it is important to have platforms like these to stay connected.
TU Students focus group
In order to determine, if TU students may prefer to use social networking sites on internet browser or mobile device, we can ask some of the questions listed below. -How many hours a week do you put into social networking sites? -Do you believe social networking will be a lot easier on mobile device? -What do you think, how social networking sites on mobile device can effect young adults?
